One early morning an angel came to my house,
She said, "My Master sent me to see if you are all right.
Don't be frightened if I should come when you are asleep,
Because you will know it is me by the sound of my feet.

If you live right, you will receive a robe and a crown.
That is the reason He was hung on the Old Rugged Cross,
He doesn't want anyone to be lost.

She said, "We all make bad mistakes sometime,
But we can ask our LORD to forgive us, and that is fine,
For sometime Angels makes mistakes,
And we have to pray, for that is what it takes.

It will take a real Christian to get in the pearly gates.
We really don't have much time to wait.
I am glad I came by here, but I have to go now,
I have three more places to go today,
But I will see you again another day.
